Borka - 24/04/2022The purchase of a vintage clarinet prompted us to need a new case more suited to the modern player, this is it! The clarinet is totally protected, so there's no worries about bumps on the bus or at school. It has really useful compartments for all the extras like reeds, grease and cleaners. Most importantly it has a pocket that fits music! Sounds obvious but so few cases fit scores or books! Finally, its good looking, which for your young musicians is more important than anything else! Might seem expensive but worth every penny!
Wolff - 03/09/2021As an adult learner I have been looking for a well made case that could fit all of my gear, including my sheet music when travelling to practice. I would previously have to carry my equipment between the carry case and backpack but this case means everything can be in a single case. I can comfortably get the following in the case: - Buffet B12 Bb clarinet - Clarinet stand K&M 15228 (inside bell) - Cork grease - BG Swab - BG Neck strap - D'addario 8 reed humidity case - Kong Tuner (CA-30) - Kong Metronome (MA-1) - Spare mouthpiece patches - Sandpaper and block for adjusting reeds - Lots of A4 sheet music/books (note, A4 is the MAX size) - Phone In terms of build quality, the clarinet feel secure and safe in the center compartment, the zips, strap and material all feel high quality. The weight when fully loaded is 2. 9kg and the case stands on the 4 metal 'button' feet without any wobble. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, especially for the price which I think is very competitive.
